Argan oil
Argan oil is one of the most valuable oils in the world and is used in gourmet cuisine, but also in medicine and cosmetics. Argan oil from the argan tree, has its origin in the southwest of Morocco. Unfortunately, the tree is threatened with extinction. The area where the argan tree grows has been declared a biosphere reserve to preserve the species.
Production of argan oil
The argan oil is derived from the argan fruit, which is ripe in late summer and can be harvested. The oil can only be pressed from the seeds of the argan fruit. It takes a lot of patience to harvest the argan fruit, as the wood is very brittle and the trees are covered with thorns. So you have to wait for the fruits to fall off the tree. The machine-made argan oil is sold in Germany as cold-pressed. However, manual production is becoming increasingly important as entire Berber families live off this work and nutrients are best conserved. To make the oil by hand, the kernels are traditionally released from the fruit, ground by hand and kneaded with boiled water to a porridge. From this porridge, the argan oil is then pressed. Argan oil is an extremely high quality and expensive component of many cosmetic products. The oil of roasted argan nuts is popular for the fine cuisine because of its nutty taste.

It is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Argan oil is also a good helper against irritated, dry scalp and dandruff. Simply massage the oil into the scalp after washing and let it work for about 1 hour. The argan oil soothes the scalp and provides skin and hair with moisture and nutrients. This promotes natural hair growth and reduces hair loss.
Why is argan oil so healthy?
Argan oil is a full-fledged natural product and free of chemical additives or preservatives.
Argan oil contains twice as much vitamin E as olive oil and consists of 80% valuable unsaturated fatty acids, which the body can hardly adequately absorb via normal foods.
In addition, vitamin E regulates the moisture balance of the skin and the argan oil has an antioxidant effect. This means that the effect of harmful free radicals is reduced and diseases can be prevented.
Skin and hair are optimally supplied with important nutrients and remain healthy and radiant.
