Colored hair needs a special care
Through the process of hair dyeing your hair is heavily strained. Hair dyes usually contain ammonia, which swells hair and thus ensures that the hair color can penetrate into hair. Hydrogen peroxide break down the existing pigments before the new color can settle and anchor. As a result, the structure is heavily roughened. In the period after the coloration you should therefore apply once a week an intensive care mask. This penetrates deep into the hair structure in order to maintain and build up the colored hair from the inside out. In addition, the color is protected from fading, the cuticle layer of hair is smoothed and improves combability. Like a protective shield, the hair mask covers every single hair and the color stays bright and shiny. For added benefit, wrap your hair with a pre-warmed towel after applying the hair mask. During the exposure time, the hair mask can penetrate even better into colored hair and the active ingredients develop optimally.

Shampoo and conditioner for colored hair
For colored hair, you should combine shampoo and conditioner. Many manufacturers offer complete care series especially for colored hair. These consist of a mild, gently cleansing shampoo and a conditioner, which smoothes the cuticle of hair and protects the color pigments from fading. Even sunlight ensures that the color fades faster. Therefore, in shampoos and conditioners for colored hair is usually also a UV protection. Take care with deep cleansing shampoo or anti-dandruff shampoo. These penetrate deep into the hair structure and can ensure that the pigments will fade faster.

Refreshing colored hair
At some point the hair color fades gradually, the root is visible. Maybe the shine is also lost. In order not to strain your hair with a new coloration, we recommend a hair coloring in between. Direct tints just wrap around the outer layer of the skin and wash out after 6-8 washes.
