Cream base
Again and again you will encounter the term cream base in our shop. A cream base is a common ingredient in cosmetics and hair cosmetics and states what consistency the product has. But what is actually a cream base, what does it do and what does it consist of?
A cream base is a mixture of oils, fats and other ingredients that can be added to any active ingredients, it has a creamy form. As a result, the cream base is pleasant to use, it does not drip, absorbs quickly and deeply and can be applied well. Surely you use creams in various forms often in your everyday life. Whether facial or body creams, shampoos, conditioners, treatments or hair dyes - in many products, a cream base is included.
In the fat phase, various oils such as jojoba oil, almond oil, argan oil, avocado oil or shea butter are added to the cream base. Then comes the water phase, in which the fats are carefully warmed up with, for example, rose water and fused. If the cream base should not develop back into their initial phases, an emulsifier is added. In the final active substance phase, sensitive substances such as aloe vera or evening primrose oil, which should not be heated, are added to the cream base.
Making a cream base and choosing the right ingredients is very complex and versatile. Thus, for each hair and skin type, a different composition of the active ingredients may be correct. If you are looking for the right product for your hair, we recommend that you first determine your hair type. For every hair type, there are a variety of care products. If you do not like the consistency of the cream base, you can also use gel-like products or serums.
