Split ends
What to do with split ends and what are split ends anyway? Splitting is when the hair splits from the top, this chipping can pull up to the hair root. Spliss is caused by overused, dry, porous hair. Mostly, long hair is affected by split ends, as the hair is exposed to more friction here (for example, by resting on the shoulders). But also by rough sheets or coarse scarves, the hair is heavily strained and can dry out.
If the outer cuticle layer of the hair is attacked by heat, friction or chemical processes, split ends threaten, since the hair structure is no longer protected and easily frays. Once the split is there, unfortunately, often only the walk to the hairdresser helps. Either the hair is then shortened in total, or worked with a special split-cut, in which the hair is twisted in strands and only the protruding tips are shortened. It is important that all split ends are removed. First signs of split ends can be treated with special top serums. These seal the hair and hold the split.
Many women dream about healthy, long hair and with the right treatment and care, you can excellently prevent split ends.
