Yellow tinge / orange tinge
You have decided to brighten your hair and you got an unpleasant orange or yellow tinge?
Blond hair is especially popular with women and men because it rejuvenates, looks fresh and is easy to notice. In order to achieve the desired shade of blond, you will most likely not get around a lightening / bleaching. A bleaching removes hair in contrast to a hair color pigments. Depending on which initial hair color you have, you can get brighter in one or more steps.
Unfortunately, when bleaching occasionally an ugly orange or yellow cast. This can mainly be due to two factors:
1. Often the exposure time is not maintained, the bleaching is rinsed prematurely and the process of bleaching is therefore not completed. During bleaching, the intermediate levels red, orange, yellow and lastly blonde take place. If the process is stopped early, the unpopular orange or yellow cast remains in hair.
2. Another reason for orange or yellow hair marks is the wrong product choice for your initial hair color. Depending on the initial hair color you need a more or less strong bleaching. If the developer percentage is too low to remove the pigments from your hair, the result is an orange or yellowish tinge.
Since hair is heavily strained by a bleaching and many factors must be considered in order to achieve an optimal color result, we therefore absolutely recommend the walk to a professional hairdresser of your confidence. Because the professional knows the colors and their application exactly. At the hairdresser you are in best hands when bleaching, because the composition, the color selection, the percentage of the developer cream and the contact time are decisive for an excellent result.
Especially the change from dark, maybe even slightly reddish hair to a radiant, cool blond tone is very difficult to achieve without an orange or yellow cast. In this case, you have to expect that the desired blond is only gradually achieved. A bleaching strain on hair very strong, so this wish should be well considered.
By the way, you can easily eliminate a slight orange or yellowish tinge with a silver shampoo. The silver shampoo contains violet color pigments and therefore forms the complementary color to yellow. The orange or yellowish tint is neutralized by the shampoo. Apply it like a regular shampoo, but leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing it out. The silver shampoo should, however, only be used until the desired color result has been achieved, since otherwise another evil can arise - an unwanted purple pear.
