Beautiful skin for spring
The air becomes milder, the sun can be seen more often and the crocuses sprout out of the ground at every corner. Spring is coming - hooray!
The right care is especially important to keep your skin looking as fresh, awake and alert as spring, even now when the weather is changing.
It's important to start with a cleansing treatment tailored to your skin type to rid the skin of environmental dirt particles and excess sebum. This makes the skin more receptive to the following active ingredients and allows it to breathe deeply.
The next step is the tonic, which is responsible for the balance of the skin's protective acid mantle. This step is often ignored, but is essential for a healthy, fresh and fortified skin, since the balancing effect contributes to the protection of the skin and thus defends the skin from environmental influences and free radicals*.
There are now many different products available to intensively moisturize the skin. These include moisturisers, ampoules, masks and the classic face cream. Which product is right for the individual depends on the moisture content of the skin and one's own preferences.
A moisturiser is a long-term intensive moisturiser for the skin that is applied instead of or before day and/or night care. The serum should be massaged into the skin in circular movements. As a rule, serums have a light consistency, absorb quickly into the skin and do not leave any excess on the skin. Therefore it is also ideal as a make-up base.
Ampoules are used as an intensive, temporary treatment. Ideally, facial care is applied after the ampoule. Ampoules contain concentrated, highly effective ingredients and are ideal as a temporary intensive treatment to give the skin an extra kick.
Masks are particularly suitable for a relaxed Sunday or a short break from everyday life. Not only because of the nurturing and vitalising effect, but also because you consciously take a moment to yourself. Masks are available in various forms. Cream masks remain supple on the skin and are absorbed slowly, the excess product on the skin can then be removed after 10-20 minutes with a soft, wet washcloth. This is followed by the usual care routine, starting with the tonic.
A special form of the mask is a fleece mask, in which the fleece is soaked in highly concentrated active ingredients. For application, the suitably cut fleece is applied to the face and slowly releases the active ingredients. The moist application penetrates the active ingredients deep into the skin. A little tip: if the outside temperatures should rise a little higher in spring, a fleece mask can also be ideally stored in the refrigerator, so that the skin is additionally refreshingly cooled during application - the skin appears fine, even and vitalised after this application.
To a refreshing spring - and a clear complexion with extra freshness kick!
