Last Minute Halloween Tips
The Halloween party is coming up, but you don't know what to wear or don't have time to shop and prepare? Maybe you don't want to be dressed up with extreme horror make-up, but you still want to pick up the motto and be suitably styled? Then we have the right last minute tips for you. You can create a successful Halloween costume and the matching Halloween make-up yourself with very simple means and without much previous knowledge. And best of all: You probably already have everything you need at home.
Last Minute Style
First you dig out everything you've got in black clothes. A simple Halloween style can be conjured up by combining a black dress or a skirt plus shirt with a fishnet tights or an old tights in which you cut irregular holes. For Halloween, dresses or tops with lace also fit very well. But also a red dress is great. A cut fishnet tights as glove sets a special eye-catcher. Who would like, can tinker itself in addition a suitable witch hat or devil horns.
Afterwards you make up as pale as possible. Many Halloween make-ups are based on a white primer. You can simply use white children's make-up or the remains of carnival - if you don't have white make-up at hand, you can also use a foundation for very light skin. Extra tip: Then kiss your mouth and brush darker eye shadow into the caves under the cheekbones instead of rouge. Now add smokey eyes, black or (blood) red lipstick and black or red nails - and your Halloween style is complete! Alternatively you can paint your nails as a special eye-catcher in spider web style: Black lacquer nails and paint a spider web with white nail polish - or the other way around.
Darf's ein bisschen mehr sein?
That's not enough for you? Make-up gets creepier with a few extra wounds on the face, décolleté or arms. A little red lip gloss, water and gummi bears in the house? Then you're ready to go! First apply a generous amount of red lip gloss to the desired area of skin. Put the transparent gummy bears in some water and heat them up in the microwave. But make sure it doesn't boil up. Then apply the resulting gelatine to the skin (carefully test on the forearm whether the gelatine has cooled down enough) and when it cools, push it into shape as desired. Then paint over again with red lip gloss - the horror wound is ready!
Alternative: Halloween in a noble way
You like it less creepy? For all of you who don't really want to come to the party dressed up, but don't want to be completely out of character, here's a tip on how you can still be stylish and look great: Halloween in a classy way! Because even an elegant evening dress fits very well to Halloween, as our pictures prove! You can even make a special necklace out of an old top shirt. Additionally a skin tattoo fits, which was painted on with a waterproof Liquid Eyeliner as in our picture below. Simply sprinkle with baby powder after application and spray with hairspray, then it holds very well. So Halloween can come - and is guaranteed no horror!
