What is a conditioner and a rinse?
The word conditioner comes from the English and means hair conditioner. There is therefore no difference between a conventional conditioner and a conditioner.
Shampooing opens the hair cuticle and removes residues, sweat, sebum, grease and deposits. Only then is the hair ready to absorb conditioning agents. In this state, however, the hair is also very sensitive and should be treated with great care. The conditioner has the task of supplying the hair with care and nutrients and then closing the cuticle of the hair again. This makes the hair more hard-wearing and resistant to environmental influences, blow-drying heat and the use of styling tools. Once your hair is heavily damaged, you should use a hair treatment regularly, as this repairs the hair from the inside out and provides lasting protection. So we hold:

The most important thing is to choose the right conditioner for your hair. There are big differences between different conditioner ranges. No matter what hair problem you are struggling with, there are a variety of conditioners that are perfectly suited to different hair types.
Why conditioner and what's in it anyway?
By using conditioner and rinsing, the hair structure is supplied with care substances and then sealed again. This smoothes the cuticle layer and results in healthy, well-groomed and shiny hair. A conditioner should therefore always be used after shampooing to protect the hair from environmental influences, sunlight, heat and cold. Conditioner also makes hair easier to comb and style. The ingredients in a conditioner can vary greatly. A conditioner usually contains natural oils such as
or , which are said to have a rich nourishing effect. However, moisturizing substances such as hydroproteins, , detanglers and shine agents are also contained in the conditioner. These substances ensure easy combability, unique suppleness and radiant shine. Humectants, acidity regulators, surfactants, lubricants, antistatic agents and preservatives stand for a correspondingly long shelf life, act against electrostatic charge, reduce friction and wear, are responsible for cooling and for keeping the pH value constant. If you use a conditioner regularly, you will greatly reduce the effects of hard tap water, which quickly makes hair look dull and brittle.
Application of conditioner and rinse
Unlike a
, the normal conditioner is rinsed out again. After shampooing, simply distribute a walnut-sized amount in the palms of your hands and massage into damp hair. Mainly treat the lengths and ends with conditioner. For fine hair, the conditioner should not be applied to the roots so that volume is not lost. Simply leave on for 2-3 minutes and rinse thoroughly so that the hair is not unnecessarily weighed down. Now the hair can be carefully pre-dried with a towel and dried with a hairdryer or in the air. If you want to style your hair with a hairdryer or straightener, we strongly recommend using a .
