When is a keratin conditioner useful?

Sun, heat, cold, or salt water gradually destroy the body's own keratin, leading to dry, porous, and brittle hair. In the worst case, the hair can break off. Regular styling with heat tools like flat irons or curling irons also accelerates the breakdown of keratin. Despite its heat resistance, the heat can eventually attack the keratin and make the hair fibers porous and brittle, resulting in thin, frizzy, and straw-like hair.

A conditioner with keratin fills the gaps in the hair fibers, closes the cuticle, and strengthens the hair from within. The hair structure is reconstructed and smoothed , making it more resistant to external influences. The result is strong, elastic, and shiny hair with increased resilience.
