The hair mask – wellness for your hair

Our hair is exposed to high levels of stress every day, for example from , , sunlight, cold, heat or dry air from heating. You should match your hair mask to your hair type, as each hair type requires specific care. Fine and thin hair needs strengthening treatment that doesn't weigh it down. Curly hair is naturally more porous and drier and needs an extra dose of moisture. With the right hair mask, curly hair looks more cared for and shinier, the curls are easier to define, and they gain more resilience and elasticity.

How to use a hair mask/hair treatment?

A hair mask is very easy to use. It is applied to towel-dried hair, previously cleansed with shampoo, and massaged in. Massage brushes or a Tangle Teezer are suitable for working the mask into the hair. Depending on the product, the mask usually remains in the hair for 5-10 minutes. During this time, the ingredients can become embedded in the hair and deliver the necessary care. The treatment is then rinsed out with plenty of running water. Hair becomes soft and smooth, and combability improves significantly.

If you want to enhance the effect of a hair treatment, warm your hair briefly with a hairdryer after applying it and wrap it in a towel. This way, the heat is retained in the towel and the treatment nourishes your hair even more intensively. The results are particularly noticeable on damaged hair.

In most cases, the use of a hair treatment 1-2 times a week is recommended. A hair treatment is like a spa vacation for your hair; it leaves it feeling nourished, vibrant, and shiny, and makes styling and combing easier.
