Some manufacturers add heat protection to the already protective and nourishing oil so that the oil is also reliably protected from external influences when using thermal appliances such as straighteners, curling irons or simply blow-drying.

How do I use hair oil?

Hair oil can be used in various ways. However, the most common way is to work it into towel-dried hair after washing. Application to damp hair is particularly recommended, as the oil can be distributed very evenly and no residue is visible after drying. The oil is applied sparingly to the lengths and ends, after which you can style your hair as usual. After drying, you will usually notice after the first application that your hair looks more well-groomed, is more tamed and has a wonderful shine.

However, it is also possible to use hair oil on dry hair. Dry ends and lengths in particular benefit from being treated with hair oil from time to time. To do this, rub a really small amount into your hands and carefully distribute over the ends and lengths. This protects the hair from Frizz and if you have hair that likes to get frizzy from time to time, you will notice that it becomes much smoother and falls better. However, when using it on dry hair, you really have to be careful to use it sparingly, otherwise residues can quickly become visible and the hair can appear greasy.

Which is the best hair oil for me?

First of all, you should determine your hair type. If your hair tends to be dry and unruly, you should use a very rich oil. But be careful with fine hair! Fine hair always needs special care products that have a lighter effect and do not weigh the hair down. If you have oily hair, you should also opt for a light oil to prevent your hair from becoming greasy too quickly. Hair oil is particularly valuable for damaged, dull and stressed hair. With the right hair oil, you can prevent hair breakage and provide your hair with intensive care. Curly hair tends to have a dry character. Hair oil can be used to conjure up defined curls and make them look healthier and shinier again.
