Hot rollers: voluminous curls and gorgeous hairstyles

Hot rollers are also known as hot rollers and use heat to shape your hair. They are indispensable for updos, bridal hairstyles or simply for gorgeous, voluminous curls, as the hot-rolled hair can be wonderfully shaped.

What exactly are hot rollers or heat rollers?

Heater rollers, also known as hot rollers, are electronic curlers. The curls are formed using heat. The hot rollers are heated by electricity in the charging station and the heat is stored in the curler. They are available in various combinations and sizes, and a hot rollers set usually also includes the corresponding pins or clips to secure the curlers. Large hot rollers give the most volume and are best suited to longer hair. For short hair, the use of smaller hot rollers is recommended. Hot rollers work much more gently than conventional Curling irons. When buying a set of hot rollers, you should also look for a coated surface (for example with ceramic) so that the hair is not damaged unnecessarily. There should also be a top layer of velour or velvet, which makes the wrapping process much easier.

How do heat rollers work?

Wash your hair as usual, apply a Conditioner and blow-dry your hair completely dry as usual. Now plug the hot roller station into the socket and wait until the heat rollers have warmed up. In the meantime, until the desired temperature is reached, apply a Heat protection product to individual sections of hair to protect them during the process and prevent unnecessary stress.

Some appliances have a signal light for temperature control to indicate when the heat rollers have reached the desired heat. Once the desired temperature has been reached, take the first heating roller out of the charging station and wrap a strand of hair in it. When rolling up, always start at the ends of the hair. Secure the roller with the corresponding pin or clip. Gradually apply the desired number of rollers. There are different techniques that each conjure up a different look. For example, if you want a smooth root, wrap the rollers only up to the desired point. If you want the curls to start right at the roots, wrap the rollers right up to the roots. If you wrap the rollers very tightly, you will get more defined curls. If the rollers are wrapped rather loosely, you will achieve a sexy undone look.

Now simply leave the heat rollers to cool completely in your hair. In the meantime, you can comfortably apply your make-up or do other things. Once the rollers have cooled down completely, carefully roll the individual strands out of the rollers. Either simply loosen the waves with your hands or carefully go through the hair with a comb. Now you can apply a little Hairspray to fix the desired shape.
