How does dry shampoo work?

A dry sh ampoo contains a powdery substance with the active ingredient silicate, which can be used to clean the hair without water. Excess grease and impurities in the hair and on the scalp are absorbed by the powder. The grease is absorbed by the powder and then brushed out. As a result, the hair looks almost as if it has just been washed and smells simply wonderful!

Does a dry shampoo replace conventional shampooing?

Clearly not! Using dry shampoo is perfect for in-between washes. Does your hair tend to become greasy far too quickly after washing? The roots and bangs become greasy more quickly as more sebum is produced on the scalp and forehead. So why use a dry shampoo and not wash your hair straight away every day? Longer or curly hair in particular should not be washed every day, as otherwise nutrients and oils will not reach the lengths and ends of the hair and the ends will dry out if they are washed too often. A dry shampoo is perfect for bridging the time between the next hair wash without having to do without the feeling of freshness. Conventional shampooing cleanses the hair more intensively than dry shampoo and is applied to the ends. Dry shampoo is mainly used at the roots. Care products such as Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair treatments or masks contain smoothing, restorative and nourishing active ingredients in high concentrations.

The time saved when using dry shampoo compared to normal shampooing is enormous. You can be done in just 5 minutes and still enjoy a pleasant fragrance and a wonderful feeling of freshness. But using a high-quality dry shampoo is also ideal for freshening up your hairstyle or adding volume in between washes.

An additional advantage is that dry shampoos are also available with colored pigments. This makes it easy to conceal any roots that grow out. The colored dry shampoos are available in blonde, red, brown and black.

Who is dry shampoo suitable for?

Dry shampoo is suitable for all Hair types. The dry shampoo is worth its weight in gold, especially for hair that greases quickly and develops a greasy roots on the first day after classic shampooing. But also for hair with little volume and hair that quickly develops an oily shine or for unruly strands. This is because using dry shampoo not only creates a clean, fresh feeling, but also an extra portion of volume and manageability. In the past, dry shampoo used to leave a matt film over the hair and residues of dry shampoo quickly became visible, especially on dark hair. Today, you no longer have to worry about this, as the numerous dry shampoos on the market have been developed by experts to such an extent that the use of dry shampoo does not cause any negative side effects, even on dark hair.
