Cardamom is one of the oldest and most precious spices and has been used as an ingredient by perfumers in the Mycenaean palace since ancient times. According to legend, the Greek nymph Minthe was transformed into peppermint, which carries the characteristically fresh, sweet-smelling essential oil in its stems and leaves.

Peppermint is one of the oldest herbs used in medicine and has always been known for its revitalizing and refreshing effect. Fresh accords of seawater with sweet, resinous, pleasantly warm and often rather powdery notes. The oriental bouquet is created from a blend of balsams including labdanum, benzoin, vanilla, styrax and fir.
