How to use:

Step 1 The hair should be clean, dry and tangle-free before use. Place the iron with the selected attachment on the heating mat provided to avoid heating or burning your surface.

Step 2 Press and hold the power button to switch the appliance on or off. Press and hold the power button briefly to increase or decrease the heat. The lights will flash while the appliance heats up to the desired heat. For healthy styling, we recommend the 180°C/360°F heat setting. The lights will flash until the appliance has reached the desired temperature.

Step 3: Start by dividing the hair into sections using our grip clips. Smaller sections will create more defined waves and curls. Spray each section generously with a heat protectant, such as our Mermade Mist. Make sure you do not touch the scalp with the appliance. Hold the appliance for 2-5 seconds. Keep the time shorter if the hair is easy to curl or if you want less defined waves or curls.

Step 4 Wrap the hair around the barrel with the curling iron. Use a glove on the hand you are wrapping the hair with to protect your hand from the heat. For the wave wand, simply clamp each section of hair and work your way down each wave curve.

Step 5 When you have finished waving or curling, make sure the hair has cooled completely before you touch it to allow it to set. For a beachy look, brush out the waves or curls. Finish with an additional spray of Mermade Mist for hold and shine or a flexible, workable spray for more hold.

Step 6 To switch off, press and hold the power button until the light goes out. For your safety, the appliance switches off automatically after 60 minutes. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before packing it away. Be sure to wipe the appliance clean after use to prevent the product from getting dirty.
