For CLEAN BEAUTY PAUL MITCHELL has developed a bio-based synthetic material. The bottles and tubes consist of 90% sugar cane and are 100% recyclable. The raw material is cultivated sustainably in Brazil. In contrast to conventional plastics based on mineral oil, more carbon dioxide is stored in the production of bioplastics than is emitted.
